Doluca Sarafin Turkish Merlot (750ml - 14.5%)

From Doluca, Sarafin Merlot is a Turkish red wine from the Saros region, bottled at 14.5% ABV. Merlot, originally from Bordeaux, finds a distinctive expression here, where cooling sea breezes extend hang-time and support a softer, more concentrated style.

Aged for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels, it develops a supple texture with vanillin complexity. This is a considered bottle for the table, and it shows at its best after at least 30 minutes of decanting. Under ideal conditions, it can be cellared for 6 to 7 years from vintage. Awards include a Gold Medal at Mundus Vini in Germany in 2025 and Best of Show Turkey Red in 2015.
