Fixaball M8 Throughbolts A4 Stainless Steel Masonry Anchor ETA Option 7

For masonry and non-cracked concrete fixings, the Fixaball M8 throughbolt provides a heavy duty anchor in A4/316 stainless steel. This ETA Approved Option 7 expansion anchor is suitable for non-cracked concrete, masonry including brick and blocks, and non-porous stone.

With the hole diameter matching the bolt diameter, it supports through fixing where the anchor can be passed through the fixture once positioned. The anchor is torque controlled and suitable for use in concrete over C20/25 strength. A4/316 stainless steel offers resistance to heavy weathering and chemical attack, including constant exposure to water, air and salt.

Care and maintenance

• Clean drilled holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris using a suitably sized brush.
• When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole.

Safety information

• Check the concrete strength, grade and edge distance before installation to ensure suitability.
• The concrete base must be compact and crack free.
• Minimum installation depth values must always be respected, including anchor depth, anchor-to-anchor distances and anchor-to-edge distances.
• Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
• Take special care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
• Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material being fixed and the washer.
• Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
