For locking threaded fastenings against movement and vibration, Fixaball external shakeproof toothlock washers are made from A2 / 304 stainless steel and conform to DIN 6797A. The external teeth provide the locking action, while the inner edge remains rounded.
These metric washers are available in a range of diameters and suit applications where a more secure fastening is required. They are also used to help prevent galvanic corrosion by insulating steel screws from aluminium surfaces.
