Fixaball Metric Split Spring Lock Washers Rectangle Single Coil BZP Zinc

For threaded fastenings that require a locking washer, these Fixaball metric split spring lock washers are supplied in a single coil, rectangular section form with a BZP zinc plated finish. Manufactured to DIN 127B, they are available in a range of metric sizes to suit different fastening requirements.

The hardened coil wire has a slightly trapezoidal section that allows the washer to spring slightly in opposing directions at each end. This creates a locking effect between the fastened material and the nut, increasing the force needed to loosen the assembly.
