Kavaklidere Ancyra Okuzgozu Turkish Red Wine (750ml - 14%)

From Kavaklidere, Ancyra Öküzgözü is a Turkish red wine made from 100% Öküzgözü grapes grown in Elazığ in Eastern Anatolia. At 14% ABV, it is medium-bodied and elegantly structured, with a soft, mouth-filling texture and an easy-drinking style.

The nose shows pomegranate, damson and delicate floral notes, while the palate brings redcurrant, cranberry, juicy red and black fruits, cassis, blackberry, cedar, menthol and tobacco. Serve at 14–16C with Turkish cuisine, grilled red meats, dark-fleshed fish, goat and lamb dishes, or tomato-based pasta.
