Louis Moreau Chablis 1er Cru (750ml - 12.5%)

From Burgundy, Louis Moreau Chablis 1er Cru Vau Ligneau is a white wine made by SAS Louis Moreau from 100% Chardonnay. At 12.5% ABV, it shows the poised, mineral character expected of a classic Chablis 1er Cru, with added depth drawn from calcareous and clay subsoil.

Hand-harvested from the Vau Ligneau parcels and picked slightly later for maturity, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts at low temperatures for 15 to 18 days. Full malolactic fermentation follows over several months, before ageing on fine lees in tank for at least six months with weekly pump-overs to build texture.
