Planteray XO 20th Anniversary is built entirely from Barbadian rum and shaped by the house’s double-ageing approach. The rum spends 8 to 15 years in bourbon casks in Barbados, then continues ageing in France in a range of casks including Ferrand oak. That extra maturation adds polish and texture, giving you a bottle with more than simple sweetness or oak alone.

Flavour profile

This is a rounded, indulgent style with clear cask influence. You’ll find floral and fruity aromas first, followed by vanilla, cacao and milk chocolate. On the palate, it turns gently sweet and creamy, with cinnamon, soft molasses, spice cake, rum-soaked chocolate and sugar-cookie richness. The overall feel is smooth and full without losing definition.
