Sky Watcher Explorer 130P Reflector Astronomy Telescope with AZ-GO2 Mount

Compact in scale yet notably capable, the Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P is a Newtonian reflector telescope with a 130mm aperture, 650mm focal length and f/5 focal ratio, supplied here on the AZ-GO2 computerised alt-azimuth mount. Built-in Wi-Fi allows the mount to create its own network, with control through the free SynScan App for iOS or Android, giving access to Go-To operation and a database of more than 10,000 astronomical objects.

The parabolic primary mirror is paired with a secondary mirror with Radiant Aluminium Quartz coating for up to 94% reflectivity, while 0. 5mm ultra-thin secondary mirror supports help reduce diffraction spikes and light loss. With supplied 10mm and 20mm 1. 25-inch eyepieces giving x65 and x32. 5 magnification, this model covers a broad range of observing, from the Moon and planets to nebulae, galaxies and star clusters. An adjustable stainless steel tripod, Red Dot Finder and smartphone camera adapter complete a well-equipped setup.
