Synopses

Little Women

Set in New England during the Civil War, this novel chronicles the lives of sisters Jo, Beth, Meg and Amy. Jo's Boys

This book follows on from the March sisters’ earlier years, which are captured in Little Women and Good Wives. It continues after Little Men, where Jo marries Mr Bhaer and becomes caretaker to a houseful of lively children at Plumfield School.

Good Wives

Part two of Little Women, this coming-of-age novel follows Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth as life unfolds in different ways. It includes gentle love stories, humour, and the passing away of one of the sisters.
