Why it stands out

Two Drifters Pure White Rum takes a more considered approach than a standard white rum. It is fermented, distilled and bottled in Devon, made from 100% cane molasses, and built as a blend of pot and column still rum. The white-rum component is triple-distilled, then blended and reduced with purified Devon water, which helps keep the spirit clean and precise without flattening its character. It is also made by a carbon-negative distillery, which gives the bottle a distinctive point of difference beyond flavour alone.

Flavour profile

This is crisp and clean, but it is not neutral or anonymous. You get vanilla, fresh apple, white pepper and lime zest, with a dry, bright style that keeps the spirit lively in the glass. There is enough texture here to make it interesting on its own, but it stays clear and focused.

Good to know

At 40% ABV, it suits Daiquiris, Mojitos and longer mixed serves where you still want the rum to show clearly. It is also vegan, which may matter if you are shopping with that in mind.
