Planteray Cut & Dry brings together two Barbados staples: rum and coconut. Ripe coconuts are cut, dried under the Caribbean sun and infused into 100% Barbadian rum distilled at Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery. That infusion is then blended with Barbados rum aged up to 3 years, giving you a bottle with clear island character and proper structure rather than a one-note profile.

Flavour profile

This is unmistakably coconut-led, but it stays balanced. On the nose you’ll find coconut pulp, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of sesame oil. The palate adds coconut milk, banana, green ginger, soft molasses and fresh herbal notes, with a long finish carrying coconut, pepper and vanilla.

Good to know

At 40% ABV, it has enough weight for measured sipping, and it also works especially well in a Piña Colada or other coconut-forward serves. If you want a coconut rum with real Barbadian roots and a more crafted feel, this bottle is worth your attention.
