From Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery, Planteray Barbados 5 Year Old Rum is a double-aged Barbadian rum with a measured, polished character. Distilled from pot and column still rums, it spends three years in bourbon casks in Barbados before a further two years in Ferrand casks in France.

At 40% ABV, this aged rum balances depth with versatility. The profile is rounded and gently layered, moving from vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit into toasted marshmallow, pipe tobacco, black raisin and prune, with a bittersweet, roasted palate and a chocolatey finish that suits both sipping and classic rum serves.
