The Glamping Hobbit Hole combines a distinctive setting with practical comforts, making it a memorable short break for families looking to spend time together in one of the UK’s most picturesque regions.

Each Hobbit Hole is highly insulated and arranged for a comfortable stay, with a soft sleep ledge, bathroom with toilet and sink, seating, heating, storage, electric lights, power points and USB points. A kettle, microwave and fridge are also provided. Outside, there is a picnic table and a covered viewing area with deck chairs, while the wider campsite offers facilities including a bar, shop, wood fired pizza oven, games room, library, laundry, showers and water points.

What happens on the day

Head to the Lake District for a two-night stay at the award-winning Quiet Site, set among some of the region’s most striking scenery. Up to two adults and three children can stay in one of the Glamping Hobbit Holes.

The accommodation is insulated and warm, with USB points and power points. Inside, there is a soft sleep ledge, bathroom with a toilet and sink, kettle, fridge, microwave, seating, heating, storage and electric lights. Campsite facilities include a bar, shop, wood fired pizza oven, showers, local walk sheet, games room, library and laundry. Just do not forget your sleeping bags.

• The Quiet Site allow one dog per Hobbit Hole, at an additional fee, with advance booking - please enquire when booking
• Guide Dogs for the Blind and Hearing Dogs for Profoundly Deaf People will be accepted by prior arrangement
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• This experience is available Sunday to Thursday not including school holidays and bank holidays throughout the year
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability
• The Hobbit Hole will be available from 15.00 on the day of your arrival until 10.30 on the morning of departure
