For fastening machine components in position, this Fixaball slotted spring pin is made from A1 stainless steel in a heavy type format. With a 5mm diameter, it is produced to ISO 8752 and DIN 1481 standards.

The pin has a slotted body with a diameter larger than the hole diameter, along with a chamfer on one or both ends to help start insertion. As it is driven into the hole, the pin compresses to fit and applies radial force against the hole wall for a self-retaining hold. It is suitable for double shear applications.
