Fixaball M12 Throughbolts A2 Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Masonry Concrete Anchor

For masonry and concrete fixings, the Fixaball M12 throughbolt provides a stainless steel expansion anchor in A2/304 grade. It is suitable for non-cracked concrete, masonry including brick and blocks, and non-porous stone, with use in concrete over C20/25 strength.

This torque-controlled anchor is a through fixing, with the hole diameter matching the bolt diameter. That allows the fixing to pass through the fixture once it is positioned, which is useful when securing awkward fixtures in place. A2/304 stainless steel offers resistance to weathering and chemical attack, including applications exposed to constant water, air and chemicals such as salt.

Safety information

• Check the concrete strength, grade and edge distance before installation.
• The concrete base must be compact and crack free.
• Minimum installation depth values must always be respected for anchor depth, anchor-to-anchor distances and anchor-to-edge distances.
• Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
• Take care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
• Clean holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris with a suitably sized brush.
• When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole.
• Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
• Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
