Fixaball M12 Throughbolts Galvanised Heavy Duty Masonry Concrete Anchor

For concrete, masonry and non-porous stone fixings, the Fixaball M12 throughbolt provides a torque controlled anchor for use in concrete over C20/25. This hot dip galvanised masonry anchor has a minimum coating thickness of 45 microns and is suitable for non-cracked substrates including concrete, brick and blocks.

The fixing passes through the fixture once positioned, as the hole diameter matches the fixing diameter. Reduced embedment is suitable where contact with rebars or reinforcement cages needs to be avoided. A cold formed body supports consistent dimensional accuracy and material stability.

Safety information

• Check the concrete strength before installation to ensure the class is suitable.
• The concrete base must be compact with insignificant porosity.
• Minimum installation depth values must always be respected for anchor depth, anchor-to-anchor distances and anchor-to-edge distances.
• Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
• Take special care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
• Clean holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris using a suitably sized brush.
• When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole.
• Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
• Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
• If holes in the material to be fixed are larger than required, a thicker washer of bigger diameter is necessary.
