For threaded metric fixings, these Fixaball split spring lock washers have a square section, single coil form and a BZP zinc plated finish. They are supplied in a self-colour finish and suit a range of metric sizes for fastening applications where a spring lock washer is specified.
The hardened coil wire has a slightly trapezoidal section, allowing the washer to coil slightly and lift in opposing directions at both ends. This form is intended to increase the force needed to undo the nut.
