Prunotto Barolo Bussia 2021

From Prunotto, Barolo Bussia 2021 is a Barolo DOCG made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the amphitheatre-shaped Bussia vineyard in the Monforte d’Alba area. First produced by Prunotto as a single-vineyard wine in 1961, this historic expression is shaped by the site’s varied south to south-west exposure and traditional ageing in large barrels, enhancing the balance and complexity of the fruit.

In the glass, it shows a vibrant ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose offers an expressive mix of fruity, spicy and floral aromas. On the palate, an intense profile is matched by sweet, silky tannins, carrying through to a rich, persistent finish.
