Tamiya German Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf.L (1:35 Scale)

Developed to keep pace with changing battlefield demands, the German Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf.L represents a key stage in the evolution of Germany’s early-war mainstrength tanks. This Tamiya model kit recreates the Ausf.L variant, produced from July 1942, which retained the established layout of earlier versions while introducing targeted upgrades.

Armament centred on the improved, long-barrelled KwK50 L/60 tank gun, supported by two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns. Protection was increased with 57mm front superstructure armour and additional 20mm spaced armour on the gun mantlet, with suspension strengthening to manage the added weight. Power came from a Maybach HL120TRM V-12, water-cooled engine producing 300 horsepower. A rewarding build for adult constructors, it suits WWII armour collections focused on the Eastern Front and North African campaigns.
