From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Alexandrion Carpathian Burgundy Single Malt Whisky is a Romanian single malt bottled at 46% ABV. Distilled, matured and bottled in Romania, it is made with 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water.

This non-chill filtered expression sits within the French Cask Collection and is finished in hand-selected 225L European oak barrels that previously held French Burgundy wine. Initial maturation takes place for three years in 53-gallon first-fill American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, bringing together notes of oak, berries, honey and vanilla with a lingering, sweet, full-bodied character.
