From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Alexandrion Carpathian Pedro Ximenez Single Malt Whisky is a Romanian single malt bottled at 46% ABV. Distilled, matured and bottled in Romania, it is made with 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water.

This double distilled expression is matured for three years in 53-gallon first fill ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels of white American oak, then transferred to 500L Spanish sherry barrels that previously held Pedro Ximenez for many years. Under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson, it offers a distinctive cask-led style with a rounded, complex finish.
