Alexandrion Carpathian Vradiano Single Malt Whisky 700ml 46% ABV

From Romania’s Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery, Carpathian Vradiano is a single malt whisky distilled, matured and bottled near the Carpathian Mountains. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is made with 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water, under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson.

This expression forms part of the Greek and Cypriot wine cask collection. After three years of initial maturation in American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, it is finished in 200L oak barrels that previously held Vradiano Greek wine, bringing a balanced vanilla note to the whisky. The result is a Romanian single malt with a rich, balanced profile and a long, complex finish.
