Alexandrion Carpathian Cabernet Sauvignon Single Malt Whisky 700ml 40% ABV

From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, this Romanian single malt whisky is distilled, matured and bottled using 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water. Carpathian Cabernet Sauvignon Single Malt is bottled at 40% ABV and forms part of the Romanian Wine Cask Collection.

Initial maturation takes place for over three years in 200L select bourbon casks made from white American oak, followed by an 11-month finish in 225L Cabernet Sauvignon red wine barrels sourced from Alexandrion’s own winery. The result is a whisky with a rounded, sweet profile and a long, intense finish.
