Alexandrion Carpathian Oloroso Single Malt Whisky 700ml 40% ABV

From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Carpathian Oloroso Single Malt Romanian Whisky is distilled, matured and bottled in Romania. This single malt is made with 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water, then bottled at 40% ABV.

Part of the Spanish and Portuguese Cask Collection, it is double distilled and matured first in a charred first-fill ex-Kentucky bourbon cask of white American oak before transfer to a hand-selected 500-litre Spanish Oloroso cask sourced directly from the bodega in Spain. Under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson, it offers a layered profile shaped by bourbon and Oloroso cask maturation.
