Alexandrion Carpathian Marsala Single Malt Whisky 700ml 40% ABV

From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Carpathian Marsala Single Malt Whisky is a Romanian single malt made from 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water. Bottled at 40% ABV, it forms part of the Italian Wine Cask Collection and reflects the distillery’s focus on cask-led maturation.

This expression matured for over three years in 200L select bourbon casks made from white American oak before an 11-month finish in 210L Sicilian fortified wine barrels. The result is a whisky with a sweet, rounded palate and a long, intense finish, suited to slow sipping.
