From the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Alexandrion Carpathian Cognac Single Malt Whisky is a Romanian single malt bottled at 46% ABV. Distilled, matured and bottled in Romania, it is made with 100% Romanian malted barley and sub-Carpathian water, then matured in first-fill American white oak ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels before finishing in a 285L French Cognac cask.

Under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson, this full-bodied whisky brings together a rich golden colour with a fruit-led nose and a rounded, sweet finish. Non-chill filtered, it suits slow sipping when you want to explore its layered cask influence and fuller texture.
