From Romania’s Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery, Carpathian Madeira Single Malt is a Romanian single malt whisky distilled, matured and bottled near the Carpathian Mountains. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is made with 100% malted barley produced in Romania and sub-Carpathian water.

This double distilled expression sits within the Spanish and Portuguese Cask Collection. Maturation begins in a charred first fill ex-Kentucky bourbon cask of white American oak, before a finish in a hand selected Portuguese Madeira cask. The result is a whisky with a deep copper colour and a rich, layered profile shaped by its cask journey.
