Alexandrion Carpathian Moscatel Single Malt Whisky 700ml 40% ABV

Crafted at the Alexandrion Saber 1789 Distillery near the Carpathian Mountains, Alexandrion Carpathian Moscatel Single Malt Whisky is a Romanian single malt matured and bottled in Romania. Made from 100% malted barley produced in Romania with sub-Carpathian water, it is bottled at 40% ABV.

This expression from the Spanish and Portuguese Cask Collection matured for over three years in 200L bourbon casks of white American oak before spending a further two years in 225L Moscatel barrels sourced through Alexandrion’s partners in Spain. Under the stewardship of master distiller Allan Anderson, it offers a sweet, rounded profile with dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of spice, followed by a long, intense finish.
