Celestron Omni 56mm Eyepiece - 2 inch

For longer focal length telescopes, the Celestron Omni 56mm Eyepiece offers a notably low-power, wide-field view in a 2-inch format. This Plössl eyepiece combines a 56mm focal length with a 47 apparent field of view, making it well suited to broad celestial scenes and daytime terrestrial viewing through compatible telescopes.

The 4-element, fully multi-coated optical design supports strong light transmission, while blackened lens edges, a black painted internal barrel and internal baffles help reduce stray reflections and improve contrast. A generous 52mm eye relief and fold-down rubber eyeguard provide comfortable viewing with or without glasses. The barrel is threaded for 2-inch filters, works with 2-inch star diagonals and focusers, and includes a safety notch to help prevent slipping if thumbscrews loosen.
