Celestron StarSense Explorer 10" Smartphone App-Enabled Dobsonian Telescope

For straightforward, large-aperture observing with app-guided navigation, the Celestron StarSense Explorer 10-inch Dobsonian brings together a 254mm Newtonian reflector, 1200mm focal length and a manual Dobsonian mount in a format that keeps setup and use approachable. Within the first moments of use, the StarSense Explorer system works with a compatible smartphone to help locate objects in the night sky, making this a strong choice for beginners who want clear guidance without moving to a computerised mount.

The wide 10-inch aperture is paired with Celestron’s StarSense Explorer technology and XLT optical coatings on all mirror surfaces. A 2-inch Crayford focuser is fitted for smooth, precise adjustment, and the telescope accepts both 1.25-inch and 2-inch eyepieces with the supplied adapter. The Dobsonian base includes large diameter altitude bearings with variable tensioning, Teflon azimuth bearings, side-panel braces and an integrated altitude brake mechanism, while carry handles at the balance point of the tube and base make repositioning easier.
