For 9. 25-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD telescope tubes, this Celestron aluminium dew shield with cover cap brings a more controlled setup to field use and storage. Its rigid aluminium body helps limit dew formation on the Schmidt corrector lens while also reducing off-axis light entering the optical system.

The interior is velvet lined to absorb stray light and extra moisture, supporting improved contrast for viewing and astroimaging. Two adjustable clips secure the shield to the telescope tube for straightforward fitting and removal, while openings for dovetail rails at the top and bottom maintain a close fit across different setups. A cable management slot at the base keeps front-routed cables contained, including use with Fastar/Hyperstar configurations and Celestron Dew Heater Rings. When the telescope is not in use, the included aluminium cover cap helps protect the corrector from dust and also allows dark frames to be captured for imaging.
