Celestron StarSense Autoguider

For faster setup and more precise control at the mount, the Celestron StarSense Autoguider brings automatic night-sky alignment, assisted polar alignment and autoguiding into one compact telescope accessory. It aligns to the sky in about three minutes with no user input and works with most modern Celestron computerised mounts, including German equatorial and altazimuth models.

A 28mm aperture and 120mm focal length are paired with a high-quality 4-element optical design, a built-in microprocessor and a Sony IMX290-DLL monochrome CMOS image sensor. Precise GoTo improves pointing accuracy by centring objects in the field, while autoguiding makes minute tracking corrections during long exposures. Operation is flexible through a NexStar+ hand control, CPWI software via wired PC connection, or Wi-Fi with a Wi-Fi enabled mount or SkyPortal Wi-Fi Module add-on. The optical tube also includes a 2-inch astronomical filter thread.
