Celestron C5 Spotting Scope

Compact in form yet notably capable, the Celestron C5 Spotting Scope brings together a 127mm aperture, 1250mm focal length and Schmidt-Cassegrain optical design in a portable angled body. Supplied with a 25mm Plossl eyepiece for 50x magnification, it also includes a 45 erect image diagonal, making it well suited to nature observation as well as astronomical viewing.

StarBright XLT coatings support the optical system, while the water-resistant construction and custom-fit carry case make it practical to transport between locations. The C5 is also camera adaptable and tripod adaptable, with a tripod adapter block on the tube for mounting. Its close focus of 20 ft (6. 1 m) adds useful flexibility for observing subjects at shorter range, and the instrument can also be used as a 1250mm f/10 telephoto lens with the appropriate optional T-Adapter and T-Ring for a 35 mm SLR camera.
