Celestron Labs CB2000CF Compound Binocular Microscope

Built for more involved specimen study, the Celestron Labs CB2000CF is a compound binocular microscope with a 40x to 2000x magnification range, an adjustable binocular head and halogen lower illumination. Its optical set-up combines 10x and 20x eyepieces with four achromatic objective lenses at 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x immersion, giving a broad range of viewing powers for school, laboratory and general scientific work.

An all-metal body gives the microscope a stable feel on the bench, while the fully mechanical stage allows precise slide positioning. Coarse and fine focus controls are paired with an N 1. 25 Abbe condenser and iris diaphragm to concentrate and control illumination beneath the specimen. Ten prepared slides, three colour filters and immersion oil are included, so there is useful material to begin with straight away.
