Bringing live specimen viewing and image capture together in one bench-top instrument, the Celestron TetraView LCD Digital Microscope is an LCD biological microscope with 40x to 1600x magnification, a 180 rotatable 3. 5-inch TFT screen and a built-in 5MP digital camera. Achromatic 4x, 10x and 40x objectives sit on a triple nosepiece with click stop, while the camera sensor acts as a 10x eyepiece lens to deliver 40x, 100x and 400x optical powers, with 4x digital zoom extending magnification up to 1600x.

A fully adjustable mechanical stage supports precise slide movement, and LED illumination provides clear viewing for specimen work in schools, labs and research settings. The integrated 5MP CMOS sensor captures high-resolution images and 30 fps SD video, with TV output available for display on a larger monitor, television or projector. A measuring reticle is included for comparing specimen sizes, and battery operation is supported via 4 AA batteries.
