The Hakushu Distillers Reserve Japanese Single Malt Whisky 70cl

From the Hakushu distillery, in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake, the Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve is a Japanese single malt whisky created as a no-age-statement expression. Designed to reflect the distillery’s smoky, herbaceous character, it brings together both lightly peated and heavily peated malts for a complex, deeply enjoyable profile that suits unhurried sipping.

Fresh and citric in style, it opens with a light gold colour and an aromatic nose of peppermint, melon and cucumber. The palate follows with yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme, before a refreshing finish where subtle smoke lingers.
